Soon I will launch a Kickstarter campaign to fund the Fibonacci Clock project. This clock uses the Fibonacci sequence to display time using a colored tiling representation of the number sequence. The following video is the making of the clock, from woodworking to electronics. All the code and schematics will be published under the GPL licence at the end of the campaign.

I have one of your clock since one week. Its a very nice clock. Me and my wife enjoy your clock. But to be honest to buy it from germany its expensive because of the customs clearance and shipping cost. Anyway it was a good decision.

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, shipping is expensive! I actually charges 30$ USD for it and it cost me 50$ USD to ship to Germany! I have to cut in my clock margin to ship worldwide. I wish I had the Amazon rates but as you probably guess, I’m quite far from that!:)

J’adore vraiment ce projet, cette horloge geek est vraiment géniale.
Je pense que je finirai par acheter un kit sans le caisson pour faire une horloge originale sur mon bureau.
J’aime tellement l’idée que j’ai créé un fork (enfin je n’ai pas fait un fork sur github quand j’ai commencé et je me demande comment le faire maintenant) du code source que j’ai ré écrit en JAVA.
Le but est d’amener petit à petit, en même temps que j’apprends le langage, le projet à une application Android gratuite.
Je vais également jeter un oeil sur vos autres articles, c’est sympa ce mélange d’électronique et de travail du bois.
